Sekmadienį Šilalės rajone dviratininkų lenktynės – „Šilalė Classic 2017“

Sekmadienį Šilalės rajone pirmą kartą bus surengtos dviratininkų lenktynės „Šilalė Classic 2017“, kuriose dalyvaus per 200 dviratininkų iš visos Lietuvos. Lenktynių starto miestelis įsikurs Šiauduvoje, kur 11 val. bus duotas pagrindinių lenktynių startas. Po pietų į startą stos ir kiti dviračių sporto mėgėjai, kurie dalyvaus 73,5 ir 37 kilometrų lenktynėse.

„Labiau džiugu, kad dviračių sporto geografija Lietuvoje plečiasi. Šilalės rajonas, o konkrečiai Kvėdarna, išaugino geriausią Lietuvos dviratininką Ramūną Navardauską, čia rengiamos ir ne vienos vaikų dviračių lenktynės, bet pirmą kartą į Šilalės rajoną sugužės ir daugelis Lietuvoje sportuojančių mėgėjų ir profesionalų. Ypatingas ačiū savivaldybės merui Jonui Gudauskui ir jo visai komandai, kurie sutiko mus priimti, tikimės kad šios lenktynės taps gražia tradicija“ – pasakojo lenktynes organizuojančios Pro Cycling LT vadovas Deividas Vileniškis.

„Šilalė Classic 2017“ lenktynes sudarys du važiavimai. 11-ą val. bus duodas startas pirmajam 110 km važiavimui, kuriame varžysis pajėgiausios Lietuvos komandos, o nuo 15 val. į startą stos mėgėjai, kurie atitinkamai mins 73,5 arba 37 kilometrus.

Lenktynių startas bus duotas Šiauduvoje, o lenktynių trasos ratas drieksis 162, 197 ir 4101 keliu. Dalį trasos teks įveikti 3,1 km  žvyro atkarpa, kuri dalyvius pasitiks jau po kelių kilometrų nuo starto. Sekmadienį pravažiuojančius lenktynių dalyvius galės išvysti Šiauduvos, Girvainių, Bilionių, Gedmiškių, Rūtelių, Bartašiškių, Bytlaukio, Tūbinės I, Vabolės, Kerbedžių ir  Stungaičių gyvenviečių gyventojai.

Pagrindinių lenktynių dalyviams specialų prizą įsteigė Bilionų kaimo bendruomenė ir seniūnė Loreta Daukantienė. 44-ame lenktynių kilometre ties Maskvokalnio kalno viršūne bus įrengtas tarpinis finišas, o už pirmas tris vietas prizininkams atiteks gausios rudens gėrybės. Daugiau nei 18-ai lenktynių prizininkų taures ir medalius pagamino Šilalės rajono savivaldybė.
