Nuskambėjo Medvėgalio menų festivalis

Praėjusį savaitgalį, liepos 25 dieną, ant Medvėgalio – aukščiausio Žemaitijos kalno, rinkosi džiazo, klasikinės ir instrumentinės muzikos mėgėjai – vyko devintasis Menų festivalis.

Unikaliame gamtos kampelyje, ant žemaičių Šveicarija praminto piliakalnio, skambėjo Baltijos gitarų kvarteto (Zigmas Čepulėnas, Sergej Krinicin, Saulius S. Lipčius, Chris Ruebens) atliekama muzika, grojo smuikininkas Vilhelmas Čepinskis ir gitaristas Sergej Krinicin. Programą „Susitikimas“ atliko baritonas Jonas Sakalauskas ir akordeonistas Augustinas Rakauskas.

Programą „Aukštumos, lygumos, žemumos“ susirinkusiems klausytojams dovanojo Saulius Petreikis, multiinstrumentalistas iš Žemaitijos.

Renginio metu klubas „Lietuvos aitvarų judėjimas“ atliko parodomąją programą, veikė atviros kūrybos dirbtuvės, kurios kvietė kartu su klubo nariais konstruoti ir į dangų leisti aitvarus.

Buvo pristatytas keliautojo po Šilalės kraštą žinynas „Šiaurės Karšuva“, autoriai – Vytenis ir Junona Almonaičiai. Knyga skirta pedagogės, politikės bei visuomenės veikėjos Zitos Lazdauskienės (1952-2009) atminimui pagerbti. Knygos leidybą rėmė Kultūros paveldo departamentas prie Kultūros ministerijos, Šilalės rajono savivaldybės administracija, Lazdauskų šeima ir daug kitų rėmėjų.

Festivalyje svečiavosi Šilalės rajono savivaldybės meras Jonas Gudauskas, mero pavaduotojas Valdemaras Jasevičius, Lietuvos žemės ūkio viceministras Albinas Ežerskis.

Renginį vedė muzikologas Viktoras Gerulaitis, projekto vadovas Vytautas Jankauskas.
