Kraštiečių šventė Iždonuose

Šį savaitgalį, liepos 25 dieną, Iždonų kaime tvyrojo šventiška nuotaika. Čia vyko Kraštiečių šventė, kurios metu buvo atidaryta Iždonų kaimo tvenkinio rekreacinė teritorija bei pašventintas Šilalės rajono savivaldybės lėšomis pastatytas stogastulpis Iždonų krašto žmonėms atminti (autorius Jonas Vidmantas Bagdžiūnas).

 

Valentas Armonas ir Gabrielė Auškalnytė renginį pradėjo poeto Vytauto Mačernio eilėmis ir pasveikino atvykusius šventės dalyvius. Po trumpos vedėjų įžangos susirinkusieji sugiedojo „Tautišką giesmę“. Prisiminus lietuvių autoriaus  Jono Avyžiaus romaną „Sodybų tuštėjimo metas“, buvo uždegta atminimo ugnis, skirta mirusiems gyventojams ir išnykusiems kaimams. Dešimt fakelų simbolizavo Iždonų, Pagrybio, Kaušų, Prienų, Girsteikių, Lauksargio, Mikniškės, Eželiškės, Lingėniškės, ir Gimbūčių kaimus ir juose gyvenusius žmones.

Vėliau Kaltinėnų klebonas kunigas Narsutis Petrikas pašventino naują stogastulpį, pastatytą prie tvenkinio, ir linkėjo, kad ši naujai įrengta rekreacinė teritorija taptų nuolatine žmonių susibūrimo ir švenčių vieta. Iždoniškė Liuda Vismantaitė pasidalino savo prisiminimais apie tai, kaip anksčiau atrodė kaimas, ir ragino džiaugtis atkurta Lietuvos valstybe.

Šventės dalyvius sveikino buvusi Iždonų mokyklos direktorė ir mokytoja Stasė Petravičienė, Bijotų Dionizos Poškos pagrindinės mokyklos direktorius Arvydas Zdanavičius, Šilalės rajono savivaldybės meras Jonas Gudauskas, mero pavaduotojas Valdemaras Jasevičius, Savivaldybės administracijos direktoriaus pavaduotoja Vera Macienė, Kaltinėnų seniūnijos seniūnas Antanas Bartašius, Iždonų kaimo seniūnaitis  Audrius Kelpšas, kaimo bendruomenės pirmininkė Regina Mickuvienė.

Antanas Kasparavičius, poetas ir vietinis kaimo gyventojas, dovanojo savo kūrybos eilėraštį Iždonams, kurį susirinkusiems padeklamavo bendruomenės pirmininkė.

Šventės šeimininkai R. Mickuvienė  ir A. Kelpšas įteikė atminimo dovanėles svečiams bei padėkojo visiems prisidėjusiems prie rekreacinės zonos įkūrimo ir šventės organizavimo. Nuoširdžiai padėkota  ir upyniškiui tautodailininkui Klemensui Lovčikui už padovanotą saulutę stogastulpiui ir koplytstulpį, pastatytą Iždonuose Lietuvos vardo Tūkstantmečio garbei.

Vakarą tęsė Traksėdžio laisvalaikio salės meno kolektyvas (vadovas Stasys Genys). Sutemus šventė persikėlė į naujai įrengtą Pagrybio laisvalaikio salę, kurioje koncertavo Paulius Stalionis, šoko Upynos laisvalaikio salės kolektyvas (vadovė Rasa Kapučinskienė).
