Žygyje dalyvavo ir daugiau nei 20 kilometrų atstumą aplink Šilutės miestą kartu su kitais 300 žygeivių įveikė Pajūrio 10-osios kuopos jaunieji šauliai, vadovaujami Algimanto Dragūno, taip pat Tenenių jaunųjų šaulių vadovė Jurgita Rumšienė, sporto klubo „Jūra“ vadovas Rimantas Bendžius ir kiti pavieniai šilališkiai. Renginio metu visos surinktos lėšos buvo skirtos mažojo ligoniuko šeimai.
Šilutės rajone gyvenanti jauna Vidučių šeima apie trečiosios atžalos sunkią ligą sužinojo prieš pusmetį. Emiliukui buvo diagnozuotas vėžys – rabdomiosarkoma.
