Pirmasis kadencijos posėdis

Balandžio 25 d, ketvirtadienį, įvyko pirmasis naujai išrinktos 2019-2023 m. kadencijos Šilalės rajono savivaldybės tarybos posėdis. Jame prisiekė 24 Tarybos nariai, inauguruotas naujasis meras Algirdas Meiženis. Dėl pateisinamų priežasčių posėdyje nedalyvavo Reimundė Gečienė. Posėdyje dalyvavo ir naują rajono valdžią sveikino Seimo narys Remigijus Žemaitaitis, Vyriausybės atstovo Tauragės apskrityje vyriausiasis patarėjas Rimas Bytautas ir patarėja Eugenija Žiauberienė, seniūnijų seniūnai, įstaigų vadovai ir daug kitų garbių svečių.

Apibendrino rinkimų rezultatus

Prieš pradedant posėdį, Šilalės meno mokyklos mokinė Gabija Pakalniškytė kartu su posėdžio dalyviais sugiedojo Lietuvos Respublikos himną.

Posėdžio dalyvius pasveikino Šilalės apygardos rinkimų komisijos pirmininkė Rasa Kuzminskaitė. Ji sakė, kad daugiau nei tris mėnesius trukęs pasiruošimas savivaldos ir tiesioginiams mero rinkimams baigėsi Tarybos narių ir mero Algirdo Meiženio išrinkimu. Savivaldybės vadovui teks dirbti su pakartotinai ir naujai išrinktais keturių partijų ir dviejų visuomeninių rinkiminių komitetų atstovais. 2019-2023 m. Tarybą sudarys 8 moterys ir 17 vyrų.

Prisiekė nauja rajono Taryba

Po sveikinimo kalbos rinkimų komisijos pirmininkė R. Kuzminskaitė pakvietė kiekvieną Tarybos narį žodžiu prisiekti, padėjus ranką ant Lietuvos Konstitucijos, ir pasirašyti po savo priesaika.

Priesaikos žodžius tarė septynis mandatus (be mero) turintys Tvarka ir teisingumas nariai – Tadas Bartkus, Petras Dargis, Rolandas Toleikis, Akvilė Gargasaitė, Vytautas Jucius, Rimantas Rimkus ir Stasys Skalauskas, aštuonis mandatus turintys Tėvynės Sąjungos – Lietuvos krikščionių demokratų partijos atstovai: Dainius Bergelis, Artūras Dambrauskas, Jonas Gudauskas, Erika Gargasė, Rima Norvilienė, Loreta Kalnikaitė ir Vera Macienė. Priesaikos žodžius tarė trys Visuomeninio rinkimų komiteto „Šilališkiai“ nariai: Raimundas Vaitiekus, Saulė Olendrienė, Gintas Navardauskas, ir trys Visuomeninio rinkimų komiteto „Centro judėjimas už Šilalės kraštą“ nariai Valdemaras Jasevičius, Edmundas Auškalnis ir Gintautas Macevičius, du Lietuvos valstiečių ir žaliųjų sąjungos kandidatai – Vitalija Jankauskaitė-Milčiuvienė, Egidijus Gečas ir vienas Lietuvos socialdemokratų partijos narys Albinas Ežerskis.

Inauguruotas meras

Priesaikos žodžius sakė ir tiesioginius mero rinkimus laimėjęs Algirdas Meiženis. Regalijas kadenciją pradedančiam Savivaldybės vadovui uždėjo vyriausias Tarybos narys Petras Dargis. Meras padėkojo rinkimų komisijos pirmininkei R. Kuzminskaitei ir jos komandai už sunkų darbą rinkiminiu laikotarpiu, taip pat dėkojo ir savo komandai, dabartinės kadencijos Tarybai palinkėjo susitelkimo ir konstruktyvaus darbo visų rajono žmonių labui, trumpai pristatė savo tikslus ir darbus.

Laikinai einantis Administratoriaus pareigas – Martynas Remeikis

Po iškilmingos dalies iš pareigų atleisti Administracijos direktorius Raimundas Vaitiekus ir jo pavaduotoja Vera Macienė. Laikinai eiti Administracijos direktoriaus pareigas pasiūlytas Šilalės rajono savivaldybės Teisės ir viešosios tvarkos skyriaus vyriausiasis specialistas Martynas Remeikis.
