Šilalės gyventojai Modestas Gudauskas ir Aivaras Šeputis savo bėgimą aplink Šilalės rajoną pradėjo dar rugpjūčio 8 dieną 10 val.Šiandien 18 valandą jie finišavo miesto stadione įveikę net 150 kilometrų.

Visą kelionę bėgikus važiuodamas dviračiu lydėjo sporto mokyklos treneris Valdas Janušas.

Bėgikus stadione apibėgus garbės ratą plojimais ir gėlėmis pasitiko artimieji ir draugai.

Susirinkusius pasveikino rajono meras Jonas Gudauskas, kuris džiaugėsi tokiais jaunimo pasiekimais bei pažymėjo, jog tik patys ištvermingiausi ir drąsiausi ryžtasi tokiems žygiams, o ypač, esant alinantiems orams. “Tikiuosi, jog šis žygis įkvėps ir kitus miestiečius, kurie galbūt pasiryš ir užsibrėš tikslą apibėgti Žemaitiją, o gal ir Lietuvą. Norėčiau, kad tai taptų tradicija”, – kalbėjo meras.
