Tarpzoninės LMŽ krepšinio 3×3 varžybos vyko sausio 13 d. Jose dalyvavo aplinkinių rajonų( Šilutės r. ir Pagėgių sav.) kaimo vietovių mokyklų komandos.
Mūsų rajoną šiose varžybose atstovavo Pajūrio merginų ir Kvėdarnos vaikinų komandos, kadangi rajoniniame etape buvo -nugalėtojos.
Kvėdarnos K. Jauniaus gimnazijos vaikinų komanda įveikė Pagėgių sav. Stoniškių pagr. mokyklos komandą (21:5), tačiau nusileido Šilutės r. Vainuto gimnazijos komandai (12:15) ir jiems užleido vietą finale.
Varžybose tarp Pajūrio St. Biržiškio gimnazijos ir Šilutės r. Katyčių pagrindinės mokyklos krepšininkių intrigos nebuvo (8:0). Priešininkės iš Pagėgių sav. į varžybas neatvyko. Pajūriškėms užteko vienos pergalės, kad patektų į varžybų finalą. Jis vyks vasario 4 d. Druskininkuose.
