Liepos 8 dieną Šilalės rajono savivaldybės posėdžių salėje vyko darbo grupės pasitarimas dėl Šilalės baseino statybos darbų užbaigimo.

Pasitarime dalyvavo meras Jonas Gudauskas, mero pavaduotojas Valdemaras Jasevičius, Savivaldybės administracijos direktorius Raimundas Vaitiekus, Investicijų ir statybos skyriaus vedėjas Stasys Aužbikas, skyriaus vyriausiasis specialistas Faustas Sragauskas, UAB „Kvėdarsta“ vadovas Arūnas Pocius, baseino projektuotojai ir kiti. Pasitarimo dalyviai aptarė baseino statybos darbų eigą bei pabaigą. Taip pat buvo priimti keli techniniai sprendimai.

Baseino atidarymo ceremonija vyks rugpjūčio 14 d. Atidaryme dalyvaus ir Lietuvos Respublikos Ministras Pirmininkas Algirdas Butkevičius.
