Tauragės apskrities vyriausiojo policijos komisariato Kriminalinės policijos ekonominių nusikaltimo tyrimo skyriaus pareigūnai sėkmingai baigė tirti bylą dėl UAB „Šilalės vandenys“ traktorių, kurie buvo nurašyti kaip metalo laužas, neteisėto įregistravimo. Ikiteisminį tyrimą organizavusi ir jam vadovavusi Klaipėdos apygardos prokuratūra bylą kaltinamuoju aktu perdavė nagrinėti Tauragės apylinkės teismo Šilalės rūmams.
2020 m. gegužės 4 d. policija gavo informaciją, jog UAB “Šilalės vandenys”, fiktyviai nurašė ir neva į metalo laužą pardavė veikiančius šiai bendrovei priklausančius traktorius BOREKS-2628 ir LTZ40. Tiriant šias aplinkybes pavyko nustatyti, kad traktoriai veikiantys ir metalo laužo supirktuvės
nepasiekė, o jais sėkmingai naudojasi įmonės darbuotojai.
Atliekant ikiteisminį tyrimą taip pat paaiškėjo, kad minėti traktoriai, suklastojus dokumentus, buvo neteisėtai įregistruoti bendrovės darbuotojų artimųjų vardu Lietuvos Respublikos traktorių, savaeigių ir žemės ūkio mašinų priekabų registre, o tai kaip įtariama įvykdė Šilalės rajono savivaldybės administracijos darbuotojas. Šiam ilgamečiam savivaldybės darbuotojui įtarimai pareikšti dėl Lietuvos Respublikos baudžiamojo kodekso 2281 str. 1 d. (neteisėtas teisių į daiktą įregistravimas), 300 str. 1 d.
(dokumentų klastojimas), numatytų veikų padarymo. Bendrovės darbuotojai taip pat įtariami suklastoję dokumentus ir padėję savivaldybės tarnautojui neteisėtai įregistruoti šiuos traktorius.
Traktoriai ikiteisminio tyrimo metu grąžinti saugojimui UAB „Šilalės vandenys“. Asmenims gresia bauda arba areštas, arba laisvės atėmimas iki penkerių metų.
